New KBA Schedule - Important, Please Read!

We will be moving the Business Meetings from monthly to quarterly.  The first week each quarter.  (First Tuesday in Jan.; April; July and Oct.)

We feel that the one on one meetings are vital to getting to know each others business and building trust between each other.  To enhance the one on one meetings we have decided that there will be no KBA meeting on the SECOND week of each month.  This week is set aside for each of you to schedule a one on one with another member.  The one on one meeting that you have will take the place and will count for towards your attendance record for that week.

To keep track of the meetings, the sign in sheet will have a column for you to list the person that you had your one on one with.

You may have your one on one anytime, any day - it does not have to be on Tuesday, however if you have a tight schedule and this time is already set aside for KBA, then simply make a member appointment and pick your own restaurant.  You can make this work to your advantage.

The One on One meeting will only count towards attendance for one meeting.  Attendance of all other meeting are required as usual.

The Art of the Unlimited Referral Network - “A single conversation across the table with a wise man is worth a month’s study of books” Chinese Proverb. How did you get your last major sale? Cold calling? (Full Article HERE!)

Keys to Success / The Balancing Act - Bill Cosby is quoted as saying “I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.” For the very famous Bill Cosby that is quite a statement!  Maybe part of his point is one of the keys to success is knowing what NOT to do.  It seems that what you don’t do is equally as important as what you do. How to Register and set up your Business - To register a business name for a sole proprietorship or general partnership: Contact the County Register of Deeds Office where you intend to do business. (Full Article HERE!)
